Our Purpose
Serenity Youth Services was created in response to a clear gap in how mentoring support is often delivered.
Too often, young people are assigned support without careful consideration of personality, interests, or individual needs - making it harder to build trust and meaningful connection.
We believe that effective mentoring starts with the right match. By taking time to thoughtfully pair each young person with a mentor who suits them, we create the foundation for genuine relationships, consistent engagement, and lasting progress.

Our team brings a diverse range of skills, including sport, music, creative activities, and wellbeing support, enabling us to build meaningful connections and engage young people in ways that feel natural and supportive.
With extensive experience working in complex and high-risk situations, staff combine practical knowledge with a calm, trauma-informed approach to deliver safe, respectful, and effective support.
Led by Selin Aklan, whose background in counselling and emotional wellbeing helps shape our therapeutic, trauma-informed approach, every interaction is grounded in understanding, compassion, and best practice.
